BaroAware — intrusion detection from air pressure
Patent pendingWhen a door or window opens anywhere in a building, the air pressure inside changes everywhere at once. BaroAware measures that tiny change and recognises it with a neural network that runs on the device itself.
- Sees an opening anywhere in the connected air volume — no line of sight, no camera, no microphone
- Tells a real opening from wind and ventilation by the shape of the signal — learned from real recordings, day and night, in wind and rain
- The CNN runs entirely on the microcontroller; detection needs no cloud
- Android app with push alarms, arm / disarm, event log and supervision if a sensor goes silent
- Ethernet or Wi-Fi + LoRa editions — and a new Fusion edition with a 60 GHz radar on the same core
- An extra layer of protection that works alongside an existing alarm system
